Somalisa Camp is set in the heart of Hwange, and is known as “The land of the giants” due to the large herds of elephants that frequent the area. The camp is nestled into a stunning tucked away acacia island, along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain.
Day 7 to 10 – The Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls
After a 45 minute charter flight, guests are whisked to The Victoria Falls Hotel to settle in to this iconic historic hotel. The 3 days can be a time for quiet reflection, cultural interest, and adrenaline pursuits or simply enjoying the magnificence of this Wonder of the World.
Day 10 to 13 – Singita Pamushana, Malilangwe Reserve
Following a 3 hour private charter south to Buffalo Range airstrip, guests will be met by Singita’s guide to welcome them to the renowned Malilangwe Reserve. This forest-like lodge is inspired by the culture of the native Shangaan people. Amongst hundreds of majestic baobab trees are ancient rock-paintings and a variety of rare and abundant wildlife and bird species, notably Africa’s most successful rhino conservation programme.
